Beam & Co is a family business owned by Anne and Brian Martin. The origin of the name Beam was Brian & Anne Martin with their three children being the company part.

The Business based in the Village of Alloway, the birth place of Robert Burns Scotland’s famous poet has several main activities, including innovative design and jewellery of which Ailsa Craig is the core brand.

Both partners are keen curlers and Brian has over 30 years experience in the design and marketing of specialist jewellery.

As they live and work within sight of the island of Ailsa Craig - home of the famous blue hone granite - it was inevitable that curling jewellery would eventually be considered.

In 2000 Brian sold his retail business and retired, or so he thought!! It was at that point that the team set out and succeeded in creating the most beautiful curling jewellery It is already worn in over 33 countries worldwide and worn by many of the World’s Champion Lady Curlers.
